A public consultation is being held about the development proposal for the site of Conifer House 44 Southend Rd, Beckenham. The long-empty Conifer House will be demolished and retirement housing build.

Conifer House should be demolished as it is seriously fire-damaged and is now attractive to many undesirables. A rebuild along the lines proposed will be welcomed by near neighbours on Southend Road. Let’s hope the planners don’t delay the proposals with many quibbles.

It will be very convenient for the new residents as the 54 bustops are very close by. Let’s hope the planners don’t hold up the proposal with too many quibbles.
