Why join?

If you live in Beckenham, become a member of your local residents’ association, either the Copers Cope Area Residents’ Association (CCARA) or the West Beckenham Residents Association (WBRA), depending on where you live.  Residents living in the Beckenham Town and Copers Cope Ward 

You do not have to do anything, your membership alone supports the work of our Association’s as the more members we have the more decision makers must listen to us. So if you like the work we do in Beckenham, we are a pretty active bunch…..

  • Keeping up to date on issues that affect Beckenham and sharing information with members.
  • Representing members on a whole raft of issues including planning, licensing, health, council spending, policing, heritage, town centre improvement and more.
  • Attending stakeholder meetings and influencing decision making on your behalf.
  • Organising free events on The Green and promoting our town centre.

The small subscription fee makes a huge difference to the success of the Associations. As a member you will also receive our printed newsletter three times a year – so all you need to do is sit back, read our newsletter and let us know your views about local issues. Find out how to join below.

Join the Copers Cope Area Residents’ Association (CCARA) 

Residents that live in the Beckenham Town and Copers Cope Ward or the boundaries of the former Copers Cope Ward may join CCARA – the current cost is £5 per household per year.

CCARA also offers Block Membership £2 per household per year. If someone in your block of flats or complex is willing to distribute the newsletter, then your whole block could become a Block Member and pay a reduced subscription, currently 50% less per household, invoiced for the whole block. If your block of flats or complex of houses would like to sign up as a block please email chairman@coperscope.org.uk 

Join the West Beckenham Residents’ Association (WBRA)

Residents that live in the Clock House Ward, Kelsey & Eden Park Ward or the Clock House Ward may join WBRA – the current cost is £5 per year per household. Please email info@westbeckenhamra.org for a membership form and return the completed form to the Treasurer at the address WBRA membership c/o 15 Vicarage Court, Priory Close, Beckenham London BR3 4ER.
