  1. Yes, it was very good. Well done to everybody involved. As usual, some of the goods were verging on the luxury goods side, but I bought a bottle of apple juice from one stall and quite a lot of cake from an excellent stall selling high quality good value cakes. In this case, he could have charged a bit more and it would still have been good value. I think you should do this again if you have the energy – how about Autumn, with lots of apples and pears, harvest festival stuff, sometimes you can get an “expert” or dedicated person to do an “apple day” and show all the different Kentish varieties. I occasionally order fruit and veg from a Kent company called Foodari who work with small producers in Kent and try and get their produce to market. Certainly would be good to see more fresh food on sale. Also Autumn not too far from xmas so could have early present buying.

  2. Just spent a very relaxing & enjoyable couple of hours at the Market on the Green.great community atmosphere.A big THANKYOU to CCRA for organising it.Great range of stalls, but more food needed as queues long for jerk chicken!
    Thankyou very much.
Beckenham does have a heart after all.people friendly & chatty.
