Users of Beckenham Junction station may be saddened to know of the planned closure of the Newsagent and Coffee Stall at the station. The current owners of both have been there for many years, greeting the passengers. The below letter was posted up by one of the owners. We are really sorry to lose the newsagent – such a jolly always friendly lady – and the gentlemen owners. We too think the rebuilding works to the station have a lot to do with the situation.

Would be a great shame to see these two companies go. – been serving the area as long as I remember.
