For Reference
Works on the highway at the War Memorial roundabout are being carried out by Network Power and opposite Kelsey Square there is a gas installation to a new commercial unit. These works are not connected to the High street improvements.
It’s the junction by High Street, Kelsey Park Road – where the old toilet block. It was named a few years ago after Beckenham newspaper proprietor Tom Thornton who also had a Stationers on that corner opposite.
Where is Thorntons corner? I’ve lived and worked in Beckenham for 30 of years and I’ve never heard of it
Thanks
