Our Association has been campaigning for a permanent stage cover for Beckenham Green to allow community groups and schools to organise events more easily on our lovely town Green. The Council agreed to fund this as part of the Beckenham Town Centre Improvements.

As Beckenham Green is such a unique place an architectural competition for the design the stage cover is being run. We have worked with Bromley Council to create the design brief and we will also form part of the judging panel. The competition is open to London wide students in pursuit of an architectural degree at any level and recent architectural graduates.
This is a great opportunity for a student or newly qualified architect to get their design realised into a wonderful asset for Beckenham. We are very excited!
